is the Programme About
|
This Award provides a basic foundation in the
areas of accounting, finance and economics,
offering students the opportunity at the end of
their first year to transfer into any of these
areas if they wish. Students continuing on this
award will learn how to produce financial
accounts and interpret financial statements.
They will also develop skills necessary for
managerial and financial decision making in a
modern business context. The accounting degree
is accredited by the professional accounting
bodies, thereby allowing students to apply for
exemptions for some professional accounting
examinations on graduation.

The Programme focuses on all the
major areas of Finance and provides the
knowledge and skills to analyze and understand
finance in wider perspectives. The core elements
of Accountancy and Economics are covered in all
the three years of the programme. The scope to
chose optionals provides the opportunity to
build and enhance Knowledge and Skills in
specific areas as per individual requirements.
The programme Covers vital areas of Finance and
Business, which include Financial Accounting,
Business Economics, Corporate Finance and
Management Accounting

of specific techniques in the field of Finance

provide them with wide job opportunities. They

How much Time period does
it take

The Bachelor's Degree in Finance with Honors can
be achieved over a minimum period of 3 years. It
is required to have 360 credits over the 3 years
period with maximum 120 credits being
accumulated each year
