is the Programme About
|
This is a degree for students who
are interested in a career in business and
management. The award is focused on producing
graduates well grounded in the business aspects
of economics and the functional areas of
business, who can take up careers in the
private and public sectors. In addition, a study
of applied microeconomics, focusing on the
behavior of firms and macroeconomics, analyzing
the economy as a whole, strengthens the
understanding of business and lays the
foundation for a managerial role.

The award explores aspects of
economic principles and the business environment
that are relevant to management, including
international influences. Students may also
study some of the functional areas of business
such as marketing. There is emphasis in the
course on the analysis of business related
problems.

minimum period of 3 years. It is required to
have 360 credits over the 3 years period with
maximum 120 credits being accumulated each year.
