Foundation Program
The foundation programme is that
which the student joins when he is admitted to a
higher education institution. Gulf College, in
affiliation with Staffordshire University of
Britain, prepares the student through his
acquiring some skills and his implementation of
these skills and basic knowledge before
commencing his academic specialization.
The foundation Programme consists
of English language skills, computer skills,
study skills (research writing, time management
….etc) and mathematics. Controlling these skills
assist in the Foundation Programme output, and
prepare the student for the work market in
Sultanate of Oman.
Gulf College, also, pays great
attention to the Foundation Programme by
providing all means and services which support
and improve the student’ skills. It also
provides the appropriate atmosphere to apply
these skills which the student needs to be able
to improve his academic performance.
Gulf College - aiming at
achieving both the academic objectives and the
practical goals of all students.
