is the Programme About
|
The international Foundation
Programme aims at equipping the students with
the required Generic, English Language,
Application and Integration skills of
effectively learn and succeed in Higher
Education Programmes taught in English. The
programme suits the requirements of those who
need to enhance their English language and key
underpinning knowledge and skills to take up the
study of degree programmes. IFP facilitates and
provides an effective route for progression onto
Undergraduate and postgraduate taught and
research programmes.

does the Programme Contain

The international Foundation
Programme incorporates modules which have been
designed to provide appropriate skills in three
areas which are Generic Skills, English Language
Skills and skills Application and Integration.
The programme equips the students with necessary
skills, competencies and communication abilities
to succeed in the High Education programmes. The
Generic modules focus on the development of
essential personal and communication skills,
practical Numeric skills and information
Technology skills for word processing, data
manipulation, presentation and for using
spreadsheets and internet. English language
modules focus at providing a firm grounding on
language skills with a systematic approach to
General English coupled with a distinctive
emphasis on Academic English which provides a
progressive introduction to the norms of High
Education. The modules which relate to skills
Application and Integration focus on developing
the understanding and knowledge of the business
environment and the factors influencing the
businesses besides providing the required
knowledge and skills on identifying project
requirement planning conducting and presenting
the research findings.

How much Time period does
it take

The IFP programme can be
completed over a period of one academic year.
This is subject to a student achieving success
in all the modules of the programme.
