is the Programme About
|
Information and the management of
IT play an increasingly important role in
society today. This course recognizes the need
for people and technology to work in harmony so
it introduces the students to the psychology of
systems, information processing and business and
management processes. Students are also provided
with a
sound knowledge of systems
analysis and design methods, database management
systems and commercial applications. Throughout
the course, there is an emphasis on how
information is developed, controlled, delivered
and used in commercial and business
environments.
What
does the Programme Contain
|
This award concentrates on
alternative information systems strategies and
techniques at Level 2 such as object oriented
analysis and design, rapid application
development and soft systems as well as building
expertise in traditional structured methods. In
the final year students will have choices
relating to advanced techniques, information
resource management, strategic information
planning and project management and control.
How much Time period does
it take

The Bachelor's Degree in
Information Systems with Honors can be achieved
over a minimum period of 3 years. It is required
to have 360 credits over the 3 years period with
maximum 120 credits being accumulated each year.
