is the Programme About
|
The current business environment
is strongly orientated towards well-trained and
effective marketing personnel. The BA Marketing
Management award arise as a result of the demand
from employers for graduates with practical
marketing skills underpinned by an understanding
of the wider business framework, whether in the
context of commercial, industrial, professional
or sector organizations. The course is designed
to equip the graduates with the skills and
knowledge to give them a head start in their
career in marketing.
What
does the Programme Contain
|
In the first year of the award,
students will study the wider business and legal
environment, the role of marketing within that
environment and how various aspects of an
organization come together to serve the market.
In year two, the emphasis starts to shift
towards more specialist study of marketing and
how marketing specialists add value to the
organization through the understanding of
customers. The third year of the award is highly
focused on marketing, covering key areas such as
marketing management, marketing communications
and international marketing. In addition, as the
student progress through the course, they will
acquire a range of business and
marketing-specific skills that employer’s value,
supported by a balanced mix of teaching methods
and a variety of assessment approaches.

does the Qualification lead

Graduates in marketing Management
will have the skills and knowledge to start a
career in the following areas: sales,
advertising, public relations, brand management,
retailing, and general management.
How much Time period does
it take
|
The Bachelor's Degree in Travel &
Tourism Management with Honors can be achieved
over a minimum period of 3 years. It is
required to have 360 credits over the 3 years
period with maximum 120 credits being
accumulated each year.
